A few days later, over a cup of tea and fresh pastries, we reflected on the events in the Olfen Moor ⁽¹⁾, which were caused by an unexpected onset of winter between April 4 and 8, 2022. During this period, so much snow fell that there was massive tree damage in some areas of the forest, but also in the villages of the higher Odenwald region. This raised the question of whether a similar phenomenon (apart from the massive breakage of birch trees) had occurred in other German low mountain range regions. After considering whether further research should be conducted, we realized that this event in the Olfen Moor was meant for us to interpret: on the one hand, because we were in the right place at the right time, and on the other hand, because we should consider the spiritual dimension of the event in order to draw conclusions from it.
